No Student Left Hungry
Nearly one in four youth in Sacramento County struggle with food insecurity. Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services’ (SFBFS) No Student Left Hungry addresses this need by facilitating food distributions on school campuses. SFBFS develops innovative solutions to improve the future health of our community. Our goal is to bring nutritious options to local students and their families and grow healthy futures for all through education.
No Student Left Hungry serves students of all ages, from kindergarten to university, and all backgrounds. Distributions occur at schools within the Sacramento City Unified, Twin Rivers Unified and Robla Elementary school districts. Additionally, SFBFS supports distributions at Sacramento City College and Sacramento State University.
We welcome you to join our work! If you are interested in partnering with SFBFS and starting a distribution at a Sacramento County school, please contact our Food Access Programs Manager with the name and address of the school and a brief explanation of why you would like to start a food distribution.
