Over the past few years, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services has sharpened our focus to meet one of our region’s greatest challenges: hunger. As the need for food assistance in Sacramento County reached historic levels, we made the strategic decision to transition out of some programs and go all-in on improving food access for our neighbors.
As our work evolved, it became clear that our mission, vision and values needed to evolve too. Our new mission, vision and values reflect who we are today and the future we’re working to create together.
They reaffirm our commitment to nourishing our neighbors with compassion, strengthening the partnerships that make our impact possible and building a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
At Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, we’re intentional about what we do and how we do it. Our mission defines our purpose. Our vision inspires where we’re headed. And our values guide every decision, interaction and act of service along the way.
We invite you to explore our new mission, vision and values below.
