You can support families in need in our community by collecting donations of non-perishable foods like tuna, peanut butter, soups, fruits and vegetables at your office, church or community center. A Food Drive Wish List is below for your convenience!
Complete the form below and our Director of Food Bank Services will be in touch within three business days regarding barrel drop off. Please note, delivery of barrels can take between 7-10 business days. If you would like to pick up your barrel, please make a note in the form below.
No room for a barrel in the lobby of your building? Set up your own Virtual Food Drive to raise money for fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products that will be distributed to local families.

Donation Drop Off
Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services distributes donated items ranging from non-perishable foods to clothing and furniture. Host a food donation drive or drop off in-kind goods to change a family's life. Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services accepts donations at two of our locations.
SFBFS' Food Bank Services campus at 1951 Bell Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95838
Drop off non-perishable items as well as fresh fruits and vegetables at this location.
- Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
SFBFS' Family Services campus at 3333 Third Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95817
Drop off in-kind goods like furniture, clothing* and household items at this location. Click here for a list of greatly needed items.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
*Out of respect to the individuals served by Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, we ask that all items donated be new or gently used and in working condition.
