Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) aims to feed our community, literally and figuratively, by engineering solutions to help move neighbors toward a more prosperous and healthy future. SFBFS’ Commodities for the Community program connects vital resources to families in need. Made possible through USDA's Emergency Food Assistance program, SFBFS receives and distributes items such as corn, potatoes and green beans, both in fresh and canned form, to eligible partner agencies in our network. They then distribute these goods to families in need throughout Sacramento County. Eligible recipients must meet income guidelines established by this federal program.
