Hours of Operation
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Wednesday, 4 - 7 p.m.
Individuals discover donated treasures, including suits for interviews, school uniforms and seasonal weather attire through Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services' (SFBFS) Clothing program. SFBFS provided nearly 200,000 articles of clothing last year, free of charge, to families and individuals in need throughout the Sacramento community.
All donated items are dropped off at our facility in Oak Park, where volunteers sort through items by categories based on size, season and gender. Items are then displayed on racks, where clients can sort through items in search of what they need: men’s clothing, women’s clothing, children’s clothing, shoes, business attire, school uniforms, coats, umbrellas and much more. Clients are welcome to shop once a month and all items are provided at no cost. Most clients leave with 15-20 articles of beautiful clothing to help during hard times.
Job Smart Clothing
Individuals interviewing for employment or starting their first day on the job are welcome to visit SFBFS and work with a volunteer to select professional, well-fitting business attire. When a person dresses their best and feels confident, they interview better! Thank you to the community members who donate suits, slacks, skirts and shirts to Job Smart Clothing. We ask that you please call (916) 456-1980 or e-mail Tasha to make an appointment.
Anyone residing in Sacramento County may receive clothing once per month. Please bring identification for each member of the household upon first visit. All adults in the household must be present to shop.
