Come behind the scenes and meet the people who make the organization run! November’s featured staff member is Gloria Rodriguez, Food Access Programs Assistant Manager.
What’s your favorite thing about working at SFBFS?
My favorite thing about working at SFBFS is my co-workers, as we are a group of very team-oriented individuals with a common goal of making a difference in our community.
2. What does a typical workday at SFBFS look like for you?
I do not have typical days; all days are very different! You can find me at Produce for All distributions, coordinating logistics for programs and distributions, assisting Food Access staff and once in a while doing fun reports!
3. What inspires you in supporting the SFBFS mission and culture?
I support SFBFS because I see the impact that our services provide directly to families in need.
4. What is your favorite pastime?
Hanging out with friends and watching medical shows. I like to test my medical terminology skill!
5. What is your favorite fruit or veggie and why?
Honey mangos and avocados because I grew up eating them. They just need some lime, salt and chili powder!
