1. What’s your favorite thing about working at SFBFS?
My favorite thing about working at SFBS is being part of a great organization whose focus is to help people in need. I work at the front desk and every day I witness the difference we make in people’s lives by offering great programs and services at no cost.
2. What does a typical workday at SFBFS look like for you?
My typical workday at SFBFS includes answering phone calls and in-person questions about the services we offer and guiding visitors to their correct destination. I also receive, log and distribute all incoming mail. Plus, I do lots of fun projects!
3. What inspires you in supporting the SFBFS mission and culture?
I am inspired to support SFBFS’ mission and culture because we are all here to help in different ways with one purpose. Our main goal is to serve our community and help those who are in need and eventually move them from needing assistance to being self-sufficient.
4. What is your favorite pastime?
My favorite pastime is spending time with my family and reading books.
5. What is your favorite fruit or veggie and why?
My favorite fruits are white peaches and avocados. The peaches are sweet and have antioxidant vitamin C. The avocados are delicious and can be used in different recipes, they never get boring!
