A Humble Holiday Party

Our busiest season of the year came and went in a flash. As a team of 77 employees and hundreds of volunteers, we were able to pull off a record-breaking year for our Turkey Drive, Turkey Distribution and Run to Feed the Hungry. A few weeks later, it was time to look back and reflect on the success we’ve shared over the past year and celebrate.

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) staff joined at the Sacramento Turn Verein on a Friday night to eat, drink and be joyous. It’s always a great time when the complete SFBFS can get together. Our three locations, (Distribution Center, Saca CLC and Oak Park Education & Technology building) often make it challenging to all be in the same place at the same time.

Thank you again to every Sacramento community member, organization and individual who supported us in one way or another this past year. We are sincerely grateful for your generosity. From all of us at SFBFS, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours!
